Before Memeria’s service, people had to scan each photograph one photo at a time.

 

This could take 5-15 minutes per photo depending on their scanner, their computer, and their familiarity with operating both.

 

It would take weeks of continuous scanning just to get through a shoebox full of 1000 or so photos. And with busy lives filled with other obligations, the task often makes it to the “it’s-very-important-but-I-haven’t-done-it-yet” list.
